Previous and Ongoing work:
Cornish Black Bee Project (2024)
Our project focuses on the successful reintroduction of the Cornish Black Bee to our land in the Tamar Valley. This initiative is dedicated to enhancing local biodiversity and supporting the health of the ecosystem, rather than honey production. By carefully re-establishing this ancient and native species, we aim to promote natural pollination processes, strengthen ecological resilience, and preserve a vital part of Cornwall’s natural heritage. This project underscores our commitment to environmental sustainability and the conservation of endangered species in the Tamar Valley.
Willow Weaver Project (2025)
Our Willow Weaving Project utilizes local willow harvested from our land, specifically the Salix viminalis variety, to strenghen the community and connection with nature. By experimenting with weaving techniques, we created a welcoming space for collaboration and skill-sharing. Additionally, the project serves as a mindful activity, supporting mental health and well-being through hands-on creativity.
Spring Urban Nature Walks project (every spring)
The Spring Urban Nature Walks Project invites residents to explore and enjoy the natural beauty of their city during the vibrant spring season. These guided walks provide an opportunity to observe seasonal changes in urban green spaces, discover local wildlife, and learn about native plants and ecosystems right in the heart of the city. Participating in these walks promotes mental well-being by encouraging outdoor activity, mindfulness, and connection with nature. Additionally, the project fosters community engagement and environmental awareness, inspiring residents to care for and preserve their urban green spaces for future generations.
Collaborated with:
LOVE SHACK PROJECT (2019)
We are delighted to have partnered with the Love Shack Project in Bretagne to promote community connection and sustainable living. Together, we worked on building welcoming environments that encourage social interaction, creativity, and a shared appreciation for nature. The project aims to strengthen community bonds, support mental well-being, and inspire sustainable practices.

PATIO AMBULANTE CIC (2018)
We are proud to have collaborated with Patio Ambulante CIC from Lisbon to create vibrant outdoor creative spaces for the Trafaria community. This partnership focused on transforming public areas into engaging, artistic environments that foster community interaction and cultural expression. Together, we worked to design and develop accessible, inspiring outdoor spaces where residents can gather, collaborate, and participate in creative activities. This project aims to enhance community cohesion, promote local arts, and provide welcoming environments that encourage social connection and cultural exchange in Trafaria.
