Identification, collection, and tasting.

2/4/20211 min read

During our foraging expeditions in Tamar Valley, which typically span approximately three hours, participants engage in the identification, collection, and tasting of various delectable wild edibles. We explore topics related to seasonal consumption as well as the nutritional benefits and medicinal properties of different plants.

A vast array of topics emerge. How many eyes does a honeybee have? What is the fastest animal in the world? The curious lives of different species and their natural habitats never cease to inspire.

We also feel the duty to emphasize what should be harvested and what should remain untouched.

At the end of our journey, we can't help but delve into the utilization and preservation of wild foods, share delicious recipes and cooking tricks.
